Over the past two days, we have witnessed an incredible display of dedication and community spirit from our volunteers. On Monday, over 60 volunteers and club staff braved some less-than-ideal weather conditions to begin the enormous task of clearing the course, and an impressive 30-odd volunteers backed up again today to continue the hard work. Their tireless efforts in removing fallen trees, shifting tonnes of debris, and restoring bunkers have been nothing short of extraordinary. Without them, we wouldn’t be in a position to reopen any part of the course this week. Every member should take a moment to appreciate the work these volunteers have done to ensure we can all get back out there and enjoy the game. A special thank you also goes to the entire grounds team, who have worked hard to clear the course of large fallen trees and prepare the playing surfaces to a level of playability. We would also like to acknowledge Jimmy Phillips, who answered the call late Sunday afternoon and was onsite with his excavator to assist Trent and the team early Monday Monday and into Tuesday. While we haven’t been able to prepare all 18 holes just yet, the back 9 will be open tomorrow (Wednesday) and Thursday. Our goal is to have the whole course open on Friday. Carts & Course Conditions:Carts will be allowed on course; however, please be mindful that we have not yet had the opportunity to grade the paths. Our immediate priority has been clearing the course and making it playable, so we appreciate your patience and caution while navigating these areas. Bookings will reopen tonight at 6:00 PM. There is no change to Thursday’s booking template and bookings will remain. Clubhouse & Kiosk Updates Christine’s Kiosk will be open on Wednesday. The Clubhouse will open at 9:00 AM on Wednesday. The downstairs bar will be closed on Wednesday. We look forward to seeing you all back on the course!
